The nurses are available by appointment and can help you with minor injuries, dressings, childhood immunizations, travel advice and vaccinations, influenza vaccines, removal of stitches, ear syringing, cervical smears and ECGs . Information and advice on all forms of contraception and sexual health. They can advise on diet and weight management, asthma, diabetes and smoking cessation. They provide an important role in the management of chronic disease and health screening within the practice. The nurses will also visit people who are housebound.

Blood is taken by our phlebotomists on the following days and times:
Tuesday 09.00am – 10.45am (Selcroft), 11.00am – 12.15am (Fellows)
Friday 08.30am – 10.00am (Fellows), 10.15am – 11.45am (Selcroft)
The nurses can also take blood.
Irene Tickell at Selcroft on Monday mornings.
The midwives work with the doctors to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and for babies during the first two weeks of life, after this the Health Visitors take over.
