Practice Nurses
Our nurse team is led by Diane Sadek, Nurse Prescriber, who is supported by Samantha Moody.
The nurses are available by appointment and can help you with minor injuries, dressing, injections (childhood immunizations), and removal of stitches, ear syringing and blood tests. They can advise on travel immunizations, diet, asthma, diabetes, smoking and stress management. They provide an important part of chronic disease management and health screening within the practice. They can perform health checks, including cervical smears.
Midwives
Vicky Larner - Thursday a.m.
The midwives work with the doctors to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and for babies during the first two weeks of life, after this the Health visitors take over.
